Become the obvious choice for your next executive role.
The VP Accelerator: a 4-month advisory cohort for Directors and VPs, led by an Executive HR leader who spent 17 years inside the rooms where promotions are decided. Maximum 7 seats per cohort.
If you're a Director, VP, or senior leader whose next step depends on how executive decision-makers see you, this page will show you exactly what they're looking at.
45 minutes with Gabriela, at no charge. Every seat is confirmed on a call first.
For 17 years, my job was to sit in the room where executive careers were decided.
Promotion discussions. Succession reviews. Executive talent calibrations. More than 200 of them, across multiple countries and industries.
Here is what those rooms are actually like.
Nobody reads your self-assessment aloud. Nobody lists your projects. Someone says your name, and the most senior people in the company spend a few minutes trading impressions of you. How you handled a hard question in the last QBR. Whether you sounded like a peer or a presenter. Whether they can picture you at the table.
Then the conversation moves on.
I watched brilliant, hardworking leaders lose those few minutes again and again. Not because they lacked capability. Because nobody in the room could see it.
Capability gets you considered. Perception determines whether you're chosen.
One of my clients, Peter, a technical leader preparing for his next step, said it best after we started working together:
"The next career step would not be decided by delivery alone. It would be decided by how I was perceived."
Peter · technical leader
Peter didn't become a different person. He changed how he showed up:
"I moved away from operating purely as a delivery leader and started showing up as a decision partner. I now engage in executive discussions with more clarity, confidence, and weight. That has changed how senior leadership works with me."
Peter · technical leader
That shift is what this program builds. On purpose, in four months, instead of by accident over four years.
Every executive career reaches a point where more delivery stops creating bigger opportunities.
The rules change. The behaviours that made a leader successful at one level quietly start working against them at the next. Delivery gets treated as the baseline, not the differentiator. And the leaders who keep answering with more delivery become known as exactly that: excellent operators. Safe hands. "Too valuable where they are."
The usual fixes don't touch this problem.
- Generic leadership training treats every leader the same, so it changes nothing about how you specifically are perceived.
- Résumé and interview coaching polishes the paperwork while the real decision happens in rooms the paperwork never enters.
- Waiting to be noticed hands the most important variable of your career to chance.
Diana, one of my clients, found the actual gap fast:
"I was missing the mark. I was only showing what I had done, not the actual impact or dollar value. Subtle shifts in language, from task-driven to impact-driven achievement, made a lot of sense. What stood out most was how clearly Gabriela articulated the steps required to move from being a reliable performer to positioning yourself for VP-level impact."
Diana
Samuel's version took three weeks:
"Three weeks after we rebuilt how I communicate, my CEO said: 'I had no idea you were responsible for all that.'"
Samuel
His work hadn't changed. The visibility of it had.
Over four months, we work through what actually moves the decision.
- What gets said in a promotion room when your name comes up, and what never makes it onto the slide
- The signal senior leaders read in the first seven seconds, before you've said a word
- Why the most capable person on the shortlist is rarely the safest bet in the room, and what the chosen ones do differently
- How to move from reporting your work to shaping the decision, inside the meetings you already attend
- The difference between a stakeholder who rates you well and a sponsor who fights for you when the door is closed, and how to build the second kind
- How to increase your strategic visibility without playing politics
Who this is for.
This is for you if:
- You're a Director, VP, or senior leader preparing for your next executive chapter
- You're aiming for a VP or broader executive role
- You've recently stepped into a larger leadership position and want to accelerate your impact
- You're changing organizations and want to establish executive credibility quickly
- You're tired of being seen primarily as an expert or operator instead of a business leader
- You want personalized executive strategy and a serious peer group, not more leadership content
This is NOT for you if:
- You're early in your leadership journey
- You're looking for motivation instead of implementation
- You want a self-paced online course
- You're not willing to challenge the leadership habits that brought you this far
- You need completely private coaching rather than a cohort with individual strategy calls built in
Why this works when coaching hasn't.
Most executive coaching asks you questions and hopes you find the answer.
I spent 17 years on the other side of the table. I know what the decision-makers are weighing, because I sat next to them while they weighed it. So in this program, you get answers. Positions to take. Language to use. Pathways I've watched work in real promotion rooms, adapted to your specific context in our 1:1 strategy calls.
One participant, after years of leadership development elsewhere, described the difference:
"After several years of leadership development across Fortune 500 organizations and reputable executive education, Gabriela's program was the first one that really delivered what I had been looking for. It's grounded in real corporate experience, not generic management theory — no clichés, no abstract advice. You get practical strategies, direct feedback, and coaching you can apply immediately. The quality of the cohort was another major strength: everyone brought substantial professional experience, and the environment felt carefully curated, senior, and psychologically safe. Given the quality of both the coaching and the participants it attracts, I would not be surprised if it becomes increasingly difficult to secure a place."
— cohort participant
And Chitra, after her first conversations:
"Before, I was focused on finding the next title and trying to fit into roles. Gabriela helped me shift from thinking like a candidate to understanding who I am, where I fit, the problems I solve, and the value I bring. I genuinely found myself thinking, 'Why didn't I do this years ago?'"

Four months of direct advisory.
- 8 Live Executive Advisory Sessions (90 min)
Every two weeks, we work the frameworks against real situations from your week: the board update, the skip-level, the stakeholder who blocks you.
- 4 Individual Executive Strategy Calls (45 min)
One per month, just us. Your context, your organization, your next move.
- Private Executive Peer Group
Maximum 7 leaders at your level. The room most Directors and VPs don't have: peers who can challenge your thinking without an agenda.
- Direct access to me between sessions
A stakeholder meeting goes sideways on a Tuesday, you don't wait two weeks to deal with it.
- Weekly assignments
Designed to be applied inside meetings you already have, so the program runs on your calendar instead of competing with it.

The bonuses
Everything below comes with your seat, at no extra cost.
🎁 The 5-Day VP-READY Masterclass (€450 value) Five sessions on what leadership is actually evaluating when your name comes up — and which of the four boxes you're missing.
🎁 The Obvious VP™ GPT (€250 value) Your positioning sparring partner for the moments between sessions — trained on the frameworks we use in the room.
🎁 Executive GPTs for communication and positioning (€250 value) Prepare the hard conversation, the board update, the skip-level — before you walk in.
🎁 VP Accelerator AI Partner (€350 value) Trained on the full program, so nothing depends on memory or motivation between sessions.
Run your own math before you decide.
Take the compensation difference between your current role and the role you're preparing for. Multiply it by the number of years the step drifts if nothing changes about how you're perceived. Set that number next to €3,500.
That's the actual trade. Not eight sessions against €3,500. Years of your executive career against €3,500.
And the €1,300 of bonuses above are included in that number.
And unlike a salary, perception compounds. The way decision-makers see you after this program is the way they introduce you, reference you, and shortlist you for years.
The Do-the-Work Guarantee.
Do all the work: show up to the eight sessions, complete the weekly assignments, use all four strategy calls.
If you do that and you're still not satisfied with where you stand, I'll keep working with you, at no additional cost, until you get there.
I can offer this because I take 7 people, I speak with every one of them before they join, and I've watched this shift happen in more than 200 real promotion discussions. The only way to lose is to not do the work. And if that's the plan, this program isn't for you anyway.
Seven seats. Here's why.
This is an advisory cohort, not an audience.
Between sessions, I review each participant's real situations: their stakeholder map, their upcoming high-stakes meetings, their positioning. That work doesn't scale past 7 people, so I don't scale it past 7 people.
When those 7 seats are taken, the cohort closes — and the room stays closed until the next one opens.
Every seat starts with a conversation.
45 minutes, no charge, no pitch — before any seat is confirmed.
- Pick a time in the calendar on this page. The invite and the video link arrive immediately.
- We spend 45 minutes on your situation: your current leadership context, how decision-makers read you today, and what your next step actually requires.
- If the cohort is the right vehicle for that, we talk about the seat. If it isn't, I'll tell you on the call and point you to what would serve you better instead.
Nothing is charged and nothing is committed until after that conversation. Seven seats are too few to fill with the wrong people.
Questions leaders ask before they join.
Is this coaching?
No, and that's deliberate. Coaches ask questions. Advisors give answers. I'll ask plenty of questions to understand your context, but then I'll tell you what I'd do, why, and how I've seen it play out in real promotion rooms. You make the decisions. You'll just make them with information most leaders never get access to.
How much time does this take?
Eight 90-minute sessions across four months, one 45-minute strategy call per month, and a weekly assignment built to be applied inside meetings you already attend. The program is designed for leaders running large scopes. If you have time for your current calendar, you have time for this.
I'm between roles right now. Does this still fit?
Some of the best work happens in transition, because you have the space to think before your calendar refills. One client joined mid-transition: "When I'm in transition, I have the time to think, to consider, and to tap into your expertise and understand how I should position myself." Executive interviews, repositioning, and organization changes are core use cases of this program, not edge cases.
What happens after I book a call?
You'll get the calendar invite and the video link right away. On the call we spend 45 minutes on your situation — where you are, how you're currently perceived, and what your next step requires. If the cohort is the right fit, we talk about the seat and the timing then, so every one of the 7 people in the room belongs there. No payment, no commitment until after that call.
Can my company pay for this?
Often, yes. Many organizations fund this from leadership development budgets. I'll provide an invoice and a program outline you can submit internally.
What if I'm not aiming at VP specifically?
The name describes the level of operating, not a job title. First-time Directors, new VPs, leaders changing organizations, partner-track consultants, and leaders preparing for executive interviews all work through the same underlying shift: learning to think, communicate, and position at the next level before being asked to.

200+ promotion discussions, succession reviews and executive calibrations — from the inside of the room, not the outside.
The biggest career opportunities rarely arrive when you feel perfectly ready.
They arrive when other people believe you're ready.
Every year that perception stays where it is, it hardens. The leaders who get chosen are the ones who started operating at the next level before anyone asked them to.
45 minutes with Gabriela, at no charge. Each cohort holds seven seats.
